Planned Activities:
Our journey begins welcomed into authentic local spaces where ancient wisdom is still practiced daily.
One of the most unforgettable moments will be experiencing a traditional Pachamanca feast, an ancient ceremonial style of cooking where food is slow-cooked beneath the earth using heated stones, honoring Pachamama (Mother Earth). This communal meal is more than nourishment, it’s a celebration of gratitude, connection, and Andean heritage.
At Manos de la Comunidad, meet rescued alpacas and learn how Andean communities honor sustainability, craftsmanship, and connection to the land. Witness generations of knowledge come alive during a traditional textile demonstration in Chinchero, where skilled artisans reveal the sacred symbolism woven into every thread using natural dyes and ancestral techniques.
Roll up your sleeves for a hands-on Andean pottery workshop, shaping clay while learning the stories and traditions embedded within this timeless art form.
Gather together for a vibrant Peruvian cooking class, discovering the bold flavors, ingredients, and cultural history behind beloved local dishes before sharing the meal you create as a group.
These cultural immersions are not performances for tourists, but genuine exchanges that invite curiosity, presence, and appreciation. Each experience offers an opportunity to slow down, engage with local communities, and deepen your understanding of Peru’s rich traditions while creating memories that stay with you long after the journey ends.
